Pontiac, Michigan – The School Board of School District of the City of Pontiac will be holding a press conference on Tuesday, June 19 at 5:00 PM at the Whitmer Human Resource Center Cafeteria, to discuss the results of an independent critical and comprehensive analysis of the Pontiac School District.

What: The Pontiac School District Renewal Initiative

Where: Whitmer Human Resource Center: 60 Parkhurst Street
              (directly behind the Odell Nails Administration Building)

When: Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 5:00 PM

The release of this examination of the Pontiac School District represents
the first phase of a multiphase school district renewal initiative that is
being conducted by the Chartwell Education Group.

A community forum will follow the news conference at 6:00 PM.
