Lucy White, Assistant Director

Ms. Lucy White received her BA in Political Science at Birmingham-Southern College, and received a Charles B. Vail College Fellowship for her research on regional differences in media strategies in politics. Prior to joining Chartwell, she served as a staffer on Capitol Hill working on education policy for the House Education and Labor Committee and for Representative Ric Keller from Florida, Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Higher Education, Lifelong Learning and Competitiveness. Ms. White has extensive experience working on higher education issues related to accreditation, distance education, financial aid, minority serving institutions, and international education.
