Aimee Oberndorfer Le, Associate

Aimee Oberndorfer Le specializes in education for at-risk populations and education for nations in transition. She has worked on global education projects in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific Islands. Most recently, Aimee developed the training manuals for a women’s economic development project in northern Uganda, where she also conducted a feasibility study for expanded educational programming and led professional development trainings for over 200 displaced women. She has worked on gender violence and early marriage issues in Sudanese refugee camps and consulted for UNICEF in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Within the United States, Aimee has focused on multi-cultural education for students, developing workshops and trainings for high school students with Operation Understanding and evaluating curricula with the Anti-Defamation League. She has also developed culturally appropriate life-skills programs for immigrants and refugees in the Washington, D.C. area. Aimee holds a Master’s degree in International Education from American University, and a certificate from the International Trauma Studies Program at Columbia University. She earned her B.A. in Religious Studies from Willamette University.
