Zelmira Koch Polk, Senior Advisor
Mrs. Koch Polk has an extensive background in business analysis and domestic and international project management and development. Mrs. Koch Polk, who received her B.A. with Honors in International Business and economics at London’s European Business School and the University College of London, is fluent in five languages and has worked and lived abroad extensively. Prior to Chartwell, Mrs. Koch Polk was senior communications executive at the Dilenschneider Group, a leading crisis management and corporate public relations firm in New York; analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, London in the Mergers and Acquisitions Media Telecoms Division; senior fellow at the World Economic Forum, where she worked in media and entertainment sector analysis and partnership relations; and press attaché for two major Italian fashion houses, Versace and Trussardi based in Milan. Ms. Koch Polk is a board member of One Bright World Foundation, a foundation dedicated to assisting underdeveloped and war torn countries in the rebuilding of their education infrastructure, on the advisory board of the Weidenfeld Institute's Oxford Scholarship and Leadership program, member of the executive committee of the Arab International Women’s Forum and on the international advisory council of the International Crisis Group.
