Executive Leadership

Chartwell’s Executive Leadership Program involves three similar but distinct services.

• Executive Search Service Through a strong participative process and Chartwell’s wide-ranging contacts, the Executive Search Service assists the board in locating senior-level executives who best fit the district’s strategic goals.
• Executive Coaching Service Similar to coaching services available to CEOs of major corporate enterprises, the Chartwell Executive Coaching Service provides superintendents with direct interaction with senior executives who assist them in thinking through difficult district problems and challenges, developing strategies to address them. This important service provides districts with effective leadership assessment and benchmarking strategies designed to help them make critical personnel decisions.
• Interim Executive Leadership When necessary, and consistent with the interests of the school board, Chartwell will provide a knowledgeable and experienced senior executive to serve the board as an Interim Superintendent during superintendent transition periods, thereby freeing the board to conduct an open and wide-ranging search for a new superintendent.
