Regular school district governance is one thing, but governance for school district reform is quite another. Reform governance involves “governing for change,” a process quite different from conventional governance. Chartwell’s Reform Governance Development Program involves a customized “reform governance” strategy as part of the District Renewal Strategic Plan, which is based upon direct board leadership training in the area of school reform.
